"Be Good To Yourself"

It is so easy when you are stressed and have a lot on your plate to forget about taking care of yourself. You may look, wait and wonder when someone is going to notice that you are lonely and hurting. Waiting for others, is not the answer. You must be able to attend to yourself in a loving manner. Here are some tips on how to be good to yourself.
l. Your feelings are important, tell someone you trust, don’t keep them inside.
2. When you need help, ask someone and trust that they will say no if they cannot.
3. When someone compliments you, breath it in.
4. When you are upset with the way you look, buy something colorful or get a massage.
5. When you feel lonely, take yourself out for a walk or call someone, don’t isolate
6. When you are scared, symbolically give yourself a hug.
7. When you are harassing yourself, stop and tell yourself you are doing the best you can.
8. When you are tired and overwhelmed, give yourself a “well being day”by doing something nice for yourself.
