Your Body Is Talking To You

Your body is talking to you, are you listening?   It hold your personal history, starting with your childhood and throughout your adult relationships.  When you block out your feelings you are in a state of physical tension and you cannot understand what  feelings and messages your body is trying to tell you.   Its the way we all  guard ourselves from our pain, but when we shut down we feel more lost and confused.  

How connected are you to your body?  Are you able to read your body signals? Your body  is your internal compass helping  you navigate your life by giving your feedback on the (minor or major) choices  that you make every day.  You body responds with a  yes, no and maybe by certain physical reactions that occur.     It tells you when you out of balance or when the choice you just made is in harmony with your true self. 

Practice listening throughout your day.  Before you make a decision, identify the sensation in your body, the temperature, does your muscle tense or relax?   Do you feel more energetic or less?  Do you feel calm or scattered?  Being able to understand the messages and the feelings takes time.  But paying attention is the first step.   Practice feeling your body when you are in the presence of certain people.  See if there is a different physical reaction.  Practice when you are doing something you love or when you are doing something you dislike. Practice when you are paying the bills, gardening watching a movie or any other activity.  See what kind of a reaction your body is having so you can learn the messages it is sending to you. When you are listening with your body and mind  and you are connected, you are more likely to make choices that are in your highest good that will put you on your right path.
